Acupuncture uses small, solid filament needles, inserted into specific points in the body to initiate healing and reduce pain.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a regulated treatment procedure. This entitles 11 different professional groups to use this therapy, so long as they are operating within their scope of practice and have received adequate certification based on the recommendations of their regulatory body.

How does it work?

Chiropractors utilize acupuncture as a therapy option for treating the pain and functional deficits associated with neuromusculoskeletal disorders. This comprises common neck and low back pain, sciatica and pinched nerves, pain associated with disc bulges/herniations, shoulder impingement, osteoarthritis, tennis/golfers elbow and even headaches.

Acupuncture visits are offered at Restorative Health via Dr. Robert Rodine, and billed as Chiropractic care under a Complex visit fee, at $67.
